This isn't a racist question. 25, 2019 07:46 am jst well, they don’t look asian, but the real funny thing is, the japanese will make their characters look more caucasian, but often make other asians look like asians. Just wondering why they just dont make their characters asain looking like most americans make their characters white people.
I'd think they would make the characters have a darker skin tone, with asian eyes.
Anime characters generally look neutral in regards to ethnic/racial origin except for the fact they don't look japanese. However that’s not 100% accurate. In western developed games, if the character is caucasian, and i see an asian cosplay as that character. If they want to signify someone of an origin other than japanese, it's usually a stereotype or cliche rather than hair color or eye color such as americans are all brash, loud, crazy and etc.
