You have to watch this if you haven't!! The returning weapons are no slouches, either, from god eater’s short, long, and buster blades, to god eater 2’s boost hammer and variant scythe. Part 1 contains the first seven episodes of the series and loosely adapts the first game in the series.
The characters are what makes this anime interesting to me.
However, renka grew on me. There could have been more elements to the story, more on other characters, backstories and such, but that couldn’t have been neatly packed into 13 episodes, so i was pretty satisfied with our main character, utsugi lenka’s growth throughout the series. God eater follows lenka as he trains and eventually joins a company of fellow god eaters. However, renka grew on me.
